So my friend took me to see the Chicago AfroBeat Project the other night at Martyr’s and they were fantastic. It’s really refreshing to see a concert with real musicians. They don’t really have a good site up but they got a myspace. They got audio for sale on amazon or I found some great live performances on archive.org
